Calming Green Tea Face Mask

The 3 ingredients you need to help reduce acne, redness and even out skin tone.

Combine these three ingredients to make a lovely face mask that is both soothing and healing: aloe vera (preferably from a plant), one nori (seaweed) sheet, and a cup of green tea (allow to cool to desired temperature).


The aloe provides anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing effects, the nori is rich in vitamins, and green tea is a potent anti-oxidant.

What you need?

  • Dab of Aloe Vera

  • 1 Nori Sheet torn into pieces

  • 160ml of brewed green tea


Simply apply the aloe vera gel onto clean skin, then dip pieces of nori into the green tea so it becomes soggy, and plaster this onto your face.


You will probably have to tear up the nori sheet into different sizes and tetris it around your eyes and mouth. If it is not sticking well onto the skin, just add more tea. Leave it to dry and then peel off.

You can apply this mask once a week, and I recommend to combine with daily Guasha. As it is also a great tool that helps to move stagnation and reduce inflammation.
